Your yoga session is tailored to fit your goals and level of practice. It can be altered to focus on a specific area of the body, breathwork, coordination, balance, relaxation, strength or a combination of everything! Individual sessions allow for detailed corrections and cueing with hands on teaching.

Full Body. Full Mind. Full Spirit.

Yoga means the "yolking" of the body and mind. However, the movements or "asana" we practice during a yoga class is actually just one piece of the puzzle. Asanas, the postures we associate with yoga, are only about 100 years old, while yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. The movements taught as yoga are actually wrestling warm up movements from India that a wise teacher taught to students to help them focus and sit in stillness with more ease.

You can choose how much philosophy you want woven into your individual session. Each session will include at least 7 minutes of meditation and 7 minutes of breathwork. The practice will be tailored for your goals if you have a specific area you want to focus on for relaxation, mobility, strengthening, or coordination.

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing style of yoga where once the flow is familiar we move "breath to breath". This results in a more fluid practice where constant movement and breathing is encouraged. Because the class is only for you, we will move at a pace that is comfortable and effective for you!
