Felipe Puente

"Better to be consistently good, than occasional great"

Felipe began his fitness journey in 2009 at 19 years old as a sedentary and overweight teenager. He started walking, then doing intervals of runs then walks, and finally progressed to running a full mile. In 2023, he ran a 50 mile race in 12 hours and 45 minutes in a mountain range that included 2 climbs of 2100 ft elevation. He is a testament that when you dedicate yourself to improvement and create a plan you can acheive your goals. Felipe emphasizes the need to view fitness as a lifelong goal and dedication, rather than a quick fix to lose weight or prepare for an event.

Training for Life

The best type of exercise is the one you'll DO FOREVER.

There is no right or wrong way to exercise. However, there can be gaps or holes in a training program that leave you exposed for injury or dysfunction.  Regardless of your activity of choice, learning to strength train is an important way to support your muscle and joint health.

Felipe's personal training style provides safe programming and progression to ensure you can continue training without risk of injury. He utilizes full range of motion and time under tension that strengthens tendons along with muscles for injury prevention and functional strength. His sessions also include stretching and mobility movements for cool downs that can be incorporated into active rest days.

Stretching Sessions

Stretching and flexibility sessions utilize traction and proprioceptive neuromuscular fascilitation (PNF) stretching throughout the entire body to leave you feeling ready to move optimally!

Sessions are 45 minutes and address the chest, shoulders, back, hips, legs, and neck for a full body recovery session.

Smooth movement between your joint capsule, fascia, and muscles are critical for allowing full range of motion in your joints and building essential strength in every angle when exercising.
